Responsibilities Offer bereavement support and spiritual counseling to patients, families, and staff, ensuring compassionate care tailored to individual needs Conduct religious services, prayer sessions, and inspirational talks to uplift spirits and foster community connection Assist in crisis intervention by providing immediate emotional support during emergencies or distressing situations Lead educational workshops, seminars, or presentations on topics such as faith-based coping strategies or grief management Coordinate and participate in community outreach events to promote spiritual well-being and holistic health initiatives Mentor staff and volunteers on effective communication skills, conflict management, and crisis management techniques Develop and maintain comprehensive records of spiritual care activities while respecting confidentiality standards Experience Proven experience in healthcare settings with a focus on spiritual or pastoral support Demonstrated ability to provide bereavement support and Christian counseling with sensitivity and professionalism Strong public speaking and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences effectively Leadership experience in mentoring teams or facilitating group discussions on spiritual topics Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to convey empathy clearly and build trust with patients, families, and colleagues Skilled in event planning for religious services or community outreach initiatives Background in crisis intervention, conflict management, and crisis management to handle sensitive situations with composure This role is ideal for individuals passionate about guiding others through life's pivotal moments with energy, clarity, and heartfelt dedication.
