POSITION SUMMARY

To serve as the Youth Director for Christ Wesleyan Church (CWC) fulfilling responsibilities to serve middle and high school students and their families in these designated areas:

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as visionary leader for youth ministry (middle and high school students) discipleship and leadership. Leads the planning and implementation of a weekly experience for students that gathers for connection, time in God's Word, but also has fun, food and conversations around tables that lead to loving and serving our community. Assists with planning and implementation for youth camps, conferences and retreats Develops community engagement strategy that affirms current partnerships and builds new ones with schools, parachurches and non-profits. Embodies the vision of CWC and executes its mission, vision & values in our context. Participates in some CWC regular functions: monthly prayer gatherings, weekly prayerhuddles, bi-monthly meetings with Lead Pastor, bi-monthly meetings with the CWCteam and 1-2 retreats each year. MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

-Bachelor's degree Preferred -Minimum 5 years of experience in church leadership, youth ministry and/or a non-profit

Salary Compensation:

$12,000 per year (8-10 hrs. a week, some weeknights and weekends)
