Lifepoint Church is a life-giving church founded in Wilmington, NC in 2006 by Founding & Lead Pastor Jeff Kapusta. Today, Lifepoint is one church in multiple locations across the greater Wilmington area, reaching thousands of people each week and helping people experience life change in Jesus.

Position Overview Worship Staff at Lifepoint Church create environments where people encounter Jesus and are inspired to take their next step toward Him. This role provides spiritual and organizational leadership as part of the Lifepoint Worship Staff

• leading from the platform while also recruiting, developing, pastoring, and multiplying worship leaders, musicians, and volunteers.

While this position will have significant responsibility within a local campus, Lifepoint Worship is one ministry serving multiple campuses. Worship Staff are part of a larger team that collaborates across locations, shares leaders and resources, develops people together, and works to carry a consistent Lifepoint worship culture and sound throughout the church. Worship Staff work closely with Campus Pastors, Central Worship leadership, Programming, and other worship team members to execute the vision of Lifepoint Church with excellence. They take strong ownership of the ministry in front of them while maintaining a church-first, team-first mindset-celebrating wins across every campus and contributing wherever needed to make Lifepoint Worship stronger as a whole. This is more than a musician or platform role. It is a worship leader, pastor, team builder, and culture carrier who can lead a room, develop others to do the same, and thrive as part of a larger ministry team.

Help create spiritually engaging, high-energy, excellent worship environments that support the overall vision of the service. Recruit, develop, pastor, and multiply worship leaders, musicians, and volunteers. Build a healthy worship team culture marked by spiritual growth, excellence, unity, encouragement, and fun. Develop leaders rather than simply filling positions or personally carrying every responsibility. Serve as an active member of the larger Lifepoint Worship team, collaborating across campuses and contributing to the overall health and development of the ministry. Lead with a one church, multiple locations mindset-taking strong ownership locally while celebrating and contributing to wins across every Lifepoint campus. Willingly share leaders, resources, ideas, and solutions across campuses when it makes Lifepoint stronger as a whole. Collaborate closely with Central Worship leadership, Campus Pastors, Programming, and other Worship Staff around service vision, worship culture, song selection, leader development, systems, and execution. Plan and communicate worship schedules, rehearsals, meetings, weekend services, and special events. Ensure worship teams are prepared spiritually, musically, and organizationally for each service. Create clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to worship team members. Carry, model, and protect Lifepoint s mission, values, staff culture, and worship standards. Implement and continually improve worship ministry systems, processes, and team structures. Help identify and solve problems before they negatively impact the weekend experience or the health of the team. Steward worship equipment, environments, and resources with excellence. Manage assigned ministry expenses and budget responsibilities with good stewardship. Establish and pursue ministry goals that strengthen the worship team, leadership pipeline, and overall effectiveness of the ministry. Participate fully as an engaged, flexible, and contributing member of the broader Lifepoint staff team. Key Qualifications 1-5 years of worship ministry experience, preferably within a growing local church. A vibrant personal relationship with Jesus and a life consistent with biblical leadership. Strong knowledge of God s Word and a desire to continue growing spiritually. Strong relational and emotional intelligence with a shepherd s heart for people. Excellent communication, musicianship, and platform presence. Ability to combine creativity with strong execution and organizational discipline. Personally healthy, teachable, collaborative, and emotionally steady. Able to thrive in both resource-rich and resource-limited environments. Comfortable receiving direction and working within a larger vision while also taking significant initiative and ownership. Bachelor s degree preferred.
