Compensation Range:
$29,848.00
•$31,200.00 (based on experience)
Job Summary:
The Co-Teacher supports the lead teacher and Nursery
•K4 department by preparing materials, lesson plans and supervising the children as needed, including leading in the absence of the teacher, as needed, or encouraged under the tutorial of the teacher. They will provide information concerning the ministry as a whole and will display the highest level of customer service when dealing with parents, staff, and visitors. They will adhere to all policies and expectations required by the State of Nevada, the Nursery
•K4 department, and LMCM.

Demonstrates spiritual flourishing through personal disciplines of prayer, Bible study, and outreach to others. Believes the Bible to be the inspired, authoritative Word of God. Agrees with and actively supports the LMCM Statement of Faith. Shows evidence of the fruit of the Holy Spirit in interactions with people. Has a Christ-centered home. Attends and actively participates in a local, evangelical church.
Essential Job Functions:
Relates to each child according to his/her individual needs, interests, and abilities. Assists in maintaining a classroom environment that is safe, orderly, and aesthetically pleasing. Performs additional duties assigned by the teacher and/or the director. Aids and assists the teacher in all areas to ensure LMCM Core Values and Mission Statement are carried out successfully each day. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; develops alternative solutions. Works well in group settings in both team activities and problem-solving. Responds to the needs of children and to emergencies or conflicts. Assists in determining and communicating cognitive, social, and physical needs of children. Willing and able to make reasonable decisions. Willing to cross train in all areas within the department. Shows the ability to adapt to change. Other duties as the supervisor deems necessary.
