Religious and Spiritual Life Position Summary Gettysburg College invites applications for a part-time Pastoral Care Coordinator to join our Center for Religious and Spiritual Life. This is a meaningful opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated professional to support the spiritual, emotional, and personal well-being of our diverse campus community.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing pastoral care for students on personal, emotional, religious, educational, and social matters Collaborating with the Interfaith Coordinator and fellow Interfaith Advisors to develop meaningful programming and initiatives around spiritual and faith topics Serving as a liaison connecting the campus community to religious and spiritual resources in the greater Gettysburg area This is a non-benefited position. Qualifications A Master's degree or equivalent in divinity, religious studies, social work, counseling, higher education, or a related field is required. Ordination or recognized standing in a religious organization that supports confidentiality and statutory privilege is also essential. The Pastoral Care Coordinator will be expected to work approximately 6-10 hours per week for 30 weeks per year (two, 15-week semesters). The hourly rate for the position is negotiable.
