Job Description
Buffalo Valley Brethren Fellowship is seeking a Family Pastor to join us in one of the most meaningful callings in the church-guiding children, students, and families toward a lifelong, personal faith in Jesus Christ. We are a Christ-centered, theologically conservative church with a deep desire to see lives transformed through a relationship with Jesus Christ. At Buffalo Valley, people of every stage and walk of life are welcomed into a community where we grow together in Christ-likeness. We believe the faith formed in childhood and adolescence should be deeply personal, biblically grounded, and lived out in community-becoming a vibrant and lasting faith in adulthood. This is more than a position. It is a calling to invest in the next generation and walk alongside families as they raise children who know, love, and follow Jesus. We are prayerfully seeking the person God is preparing to join us in this important ministry. The Family Pastor provides vision, leadership, and oversight for ministries serving children (nursery-elementary) and students (middle-high school), partnering with parents and caregivers to disciple the next generation. This role develops and implements a cohesive, gospel-centered strategy that establishes and maintains a unified vision for spiritual growth from kindergarten through grade 12, equips families, mobilizes volunteers, and integrates children and youth into the life of the church.
