Elders Position:

The Lead Pastor is responsible for shepherding, preaching, vision casting, and leading the church in a growing community. As one of the elders, the Lead Pastor is tasked with cultivating a collaborative environment within the elder body and developing growing leaders.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Preaching and teaching Shepherd congregation, staff, volunteers, leaders, and ministry teams. Provide pastoral care to the congregation which includes but not limited to counseling, hospital visits, and other needs Work with elder body in cultivating vision for the future Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications:

Maintain a relationship with God that you enjoy and has influence over your life, appetites, and understanding Love, nourish and enjoy your wife Lead your family with gravity, gusto, and gladness Possess a proven track record of effective leadership and team development

Be in agreement with the doctrinal position of the church (consistent with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000)
