We believe that children and preschoolers are not merely the future of the church, they are the church today. We are seeking a gifted, experienced Children's Minister to lead our children's and preschool ministries with vision, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the Gospel.

The right candidate will be a spiritually mature follower of Christ who leads from the overflow of their own walk with God, who can cast and sustain a gospel-driven vision for the next generation, and who delights in partnering with parents to make the home the primary place of faith formation.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Genuine, demonstrated personal faith in Jesus Christ and active membership in a local church Bachelor's Degree required (degree in Christian Education, Ministry, or related field preferred)Minimum of 4 years of paid children's ministry experienceProven ability to recruit, train, and lead volunteer teamsStrong communication skills with children, parents, and church leadershipFamiliarity with Southern Baptist doctrine, polity, and convention resourcesA heart for evangelism and discipleship of children from birth through 5th grade

PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Children's Minister is responsible for providing visionary, Gospel-centered leadership for all planning, coordination, direction, and evaluation of the children's and preschool ministries of Holly Brook Baptist Church.

Salary:
