In this vital role, you will lead youth programs, foster meaningful engagement, and serve as a spiritual mentor to adolescents and teenagers. Your leadership will help cultivate a supportive environment where youth can explore their faith, develop leadership skills, and participate actively in church life. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic youth programs that promote spiritual growth, community involvement, and personal development. Lead weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and special events that encourage active participation and religious education. Provide mentorship, counseling, and pastoral support to youth facing personal challenges or life transitions. Coordinate volunteer efforts for youth activities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all participants. Organize mission trips, outreach initiatives, summer camp and service projects that foster community engagement and social responsibility. Collaborate with parents, church leaders, and community organizations to support youth needs and enhance program offerings. Plan and oversee religious education classes tailored for young audiences, integrating teachings of Christian theology and values. Qualifications Proven experience in youth ministry or working with children within a religious or nonprofit faith-based organization. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people through positive engagement. Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with youth, parents, volunteers, and church staff. Knowledge of pastoral theology, religious studies, and Christian counseling principles. Experience in event planning, volunteer management, and fundraising for youth programs or nonprofit initiatives. Background in social work or related fields that support mentoring and youth development is preferred. Demonstrated ability to organize activities that promote religious education, community service, and spiritual mentorship. Although a non-denominational church the church has Baptist roots.
