We Are Seeking a
Pastor Who:
Demonstrates a clear calling to pastoral ministry Upholds Christian theology and moral teaching Embraces reformist principles: Scripture-driven renewal, restoration of historic Christian practices, and faithful discipleship Is gifted in expository and Christ-centered preaching Leads with humility, integrity, and servant-hearted care Provides pastoral counseling, visitation, and spiritual oversight Can shepherd individuals and families across generations Prays diligently for the congregation and models a godly life
Primary Responsibilities:
Preaching and teaching the Word faithfully each week Leading worship in accordance with the Christian denomination Providing pastoral care, discipleship, and counseling Overseeing church ministries and working alongside elders/leadership Encouraging evangelism, missions, and biblically shaped community engagement Guiding the congregation in spiritual formation and doctrinal faithfulness
About Ebenezer Church:
Ebenezer Church, a congregation within a conservative Christian denomination, is seeking a pastor who is deeply committed to the authority of Scripture, gospel-centered ministry, and the renewal of historic Christian faith and practice. We are a Christ-centered congregation rooted in classic Scripture, salvation by grace through faith, and a church life shaped by worship, discipleship, and mission. Our community values reverent worship, doctrinal clarity, family-centered ministry, and spiritual growth grounded in the Word of God. We desire a pastor who will join us in upholding biblical convictions while leading our church toward faithful reform, renewal, and evangelistic outreach.
Job Qualifications:
Ordained (or seeking ordination) within a Christian denomination Theological education from an accredited Christian seminary preferred Strong communication, leadership, and pastoral skills Life and character consistent with the biblical qualifications of 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1
