Responsible for overseeing daily client activities and ensuring the interim housing facility operates smoothly and efficiently during day, evening, and overnight shifts. Maintains health, safety, and sanitation standards by keeping a clean, safe, and healthy environment for residents and staff. Addresses issues or conflicts using trauma-informed care principles. Communicates effectively with the Case Manager, Residential Associate Supervisor, and Manager of Expansion Programs by completing daily shift reports, incident reports, and facilitating client grievances to support a cohesive, client-focused approach. Reports To Resident Associate Supervisor Schedule As assigned Duties and Responsibilities Day and Evening Shifts Demonstrate good judgment and maintain composure guided by trauma-informed care principles Maintain communication by preparing daily shift reports, documenting incidents, and issuing client grievance forms Perform daily room checks and supervise facility grounds Report urgent client issues to the Supervisor or Manager immediately Ensure the safety of clients, staff, and the facility by contacting emergency services when required Supervise client activities, including meals, hygiene, and general interactions Assist with meal service as needed Coordinate laundry and shower schedules Clean kitchen, dining areas, laundry facilities, restrooms, and showers daily Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of the facility Report maintenance or structural issues Perform site maintenance and other duties as assigned Overnight Shift Fulfill all applicable duties from the Day and Evening shifts Oversee facility operations during overnight hours Address emergent client needs Contact public authorities as necessary for safety concerns Ensure restrooms are fully stocked Wash, dry, and restock all linens daily Complete overnight site maintenance and assigned tasks Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in homeless services or related social service setting Ability to listen effectively and resolve issues using trauma-informed care Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Experience with basic facility maintenance preferred Ability to lift, carry supplies, and perform manual labor related to cleaning and repairs Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills desirable but not required Physical Working Conditions Some travel to field locations required; must have a valid driver's license and maintain auto insurance at state-required levels Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, and stretching Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds Frequent use of a computer, keyboard, and phone Other Conditions This job description is not intended to be a comprehensive list of all duties and responsibilities.
