Group Facilitator No Matter What Recovery Detox Los Angeles, CA Job Details Contract From $50 an hour 3 hours ago Qualifications Teamwork Care documentation Clinical information systems Working with individuals with mental health conditions LGBTQIA+ counseling Full Job Description No Matter What Recovery Detox (Los Angeles, CA) seeks bright, creative, and passionate individuals to join our in-patient detoxification and residential treatment program. We have a focus on LGBTQ+ affirming care and offer a trauma-informed approach; providing individualized and comprehensive holistic programs that include clinical and experiential practices. As a group facilitator, you will provide group therapy to our clients and be an important part of their wellness journey. You will use evidence-based modalities and your clinical experience to help our clients manage their recovery, while being on a team with other caring professionals who share the same mission. Responsibilities Lead groups focused on coping skills, psychoeducation, emotional regulation, wellness, recovery, and life skills Groups will be 90-minutes and will need to accurately documented on Kipu EMR Monitor client well-being and help maintain a calm, safe environment Use verbal de-escalation and crisis support skills when needed Communicate client updates or concerns to the clinical team Qualifications 1+ year of experience in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, residential treatment, counseling, or related care setting required Experience working with the LGBTQ+ community Group facilitation experience strongly preferred Strong communication, boundaries, documentation, and follow-through Calm, reliable, professional, and team-oriented Must be able to provide professional references
