SUPPORT STAFF
Elev8 Recovery | Butte County, CA Elev8 Recovery is looking for a dependable, organized, and professional Support Staff member to join our residential recovery team. This position is a combination of client support, administrative responsibilities, documentation, and maintaining structure within the program. We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about helping people while also having the ability to maintain strong, healthy professional boundaries . Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support and supervision for clients in a residential recovery environment Maintain strong professional boundaries while building respectful relationships with clients Assist with administrative duties, filing, documentation, and client records Complete accurate and timely shift notes, reports, and other required documentation Use computers and electronic systems confidently for daily administrative tasks Help maintain program structure, rules, schedules, and accountability Communicate effectively with counselors, case managers, leadership, and other staff Assist with client transportation, appointments, activities, and other program needs when required Identify and communicate client concerns, behavioral issues, or potential safety issues to leadership Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times What We're Looking For Computer and administrative skills are important for this position. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with email, electronic documentation, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, data entry, and learning new software systems.
Candidates should also be:
Dependable, punctual, and organized Detail-oriented with good documentation skills Confident using computers Able to communicate clearly and professionally Comfortable enforcing rules and expectations Able to show compassion without becoming overly involved with clients Able to handle conflict calmly and professionally Comfortable working with individuals in recovery and those involved with the criminal justice system Able to work independently while also being a strong team member Willing to learn and accept direction from leadership The Right Person We are looking for someone who understands that support does not mean rescuing . Our staff are expected to encourage clients, model accountability, and treat everyone with dignity while maintaining clear boundaries and consistently enforcing program expectations. Experience in behavioral health, substance-use treatment, recovery, reentry, case management, residential programs, or administrative work is a plus, but we are also willing to consider the right person who has the professionalism and willingness to learn.
