• Benefits eligible This role is built around a 3 x 12 schedule, Friday through Sunday, giving you a full-time position with four days off every week.

We're open to discussing a partial schedule covering 2 of the 3 days for the right candidate. Hope House is a long-term residential recovery program for women and their children in Augusta. Our residents are rebuilding their lives after substance use disorder — and the weekend shift is when families visit, passes happen, and the campus runs at its most dynamic. You'll need to be consistent, grounded, and firm, because the rules don't take weekends off. This is not a therapy or counseling role. You will be on your feet, moving between buildings, monitoring campus, managing visitor access, and holding structure on days when structure is hardest to maintain. What this job actually looks like: Monitoring campus and conducting regular walkthroughs to keep residents and children safe Managing passes, visitor access, and resident re-entry — including item inspections Enforcing program rules firmly and with dignity — even when residents push back Conducting drug screens and supervising medication self-administration Responding calmly to escalating situations and exercising sound judgment Documenting the shift thoroughly for the weekday team Supervising chores, apartment checks, and scheduled weekend activities You'll be good at this if you: Don't confuse kindness with permissiveness — you can hold a line while still treating people with respect Stay regulated when someone in front of you isn't Understand that consistency on the hard days is what recovery actually requires Want a non-traditional schedule that frees up your weekdays Have personal or professional experience that gives you genuine empathy for what recovery looks like

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of experience in a residential, treatment, shelter, corrections, or similar setting Must be 25 or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record Comfortable with basic computer tasks (email, documentation, camera systems)
