As a Resident Assistant, you will be the friendly, attentive presence that ensures residents feel safe, comfortable, and engaged every day. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help foster a warm community where residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor vital signs and observe health changes to report to nursing staff promptly Provide personal care with dignity and respect while adhering to safe patient lifting practices and manual handling protocols Engage residents through meaningful activities, socialization, and group programs to promote mental stimulation and community involvement Maintain cleanliness of resident areas, assist with meal preparation, and support overall household routines to foster a comfortable living space Experience Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable Hands-on experience assisting with ADLs and providing personal or home & community care is preferred Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional training in safe patient lifting practices is a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments enhances your ability to provide tailored support Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks confidently ensures resident safety and comfort Join us as a Resident Assistant if you're passionate about caregiving, eager to develop your skills in senior or disability care environments, and committed to creating positive experiences for those we serve.
