This position works directly with the Program Director and supports daily scheduling, staff coordination, customer service, leagues, rentals, training programs, memberships, and facility readiness. The facility includes two full-size basketball courts that also support six pickleball layouts, four golf simulator bays, a 24-hour gym, personal training, basketball skills training, drop-in programs, leagues, and community rentals. This is an active on-site role for someone who can keep several programs organized, communicate clearly, solve problems during live operations, and provide dependable evening and weekend leadership. Responsibilities Maintain court, simulator, training, rental, drop-in, league, and staff schedules; identify conflicts before they affect customers or programs. Lead assigned shifts, including opening or closing support, customer check in, court transitions, equipment readiness, and response to live operational issues. Coordinate league registrations, rosters, free agents, officials, scorekeepers, standings, playoff brackets, schedules, and participant communication. Support registration, booking, payment, refund, failed payment, and reconciliation processes within assigned system permissions. Help recruit, onboard, schedule, and supervise part-time program staff while reinforcing service, safety, sportsmanship, and documentation standards. Respond to member, participant, renter, parent, captain, and customer questions promptly and professionally. Track attendance, registrations, customer concerns, incidents, revenue, labor coverage, and court or simulator use for the Program Director. Support pre-opening checklists, staff training, facility tests, equipment setup, signage, emergency walkthroughs, and soft-opening activities. Assist with membership, personal training, basketball skills training, drop-in, rental, league, and program outreach and follow-up. Escalate safety, staffing, payment, customer, or facility concerns promptly and document the action taken. Qualifications Experience in recreation, sports, fitness, facility operations, events, hospitality, or customer service. Strong organization, follow-through, written communication, and calm judgment during busy operations. Experience coordinating schedules, staff coverage, programs, events, or customer appointments is preferred. Comfort using spreadsheets, calendars, email, online forms, registration systems, scheduling software, or point-of-sale tools. Ability to work independently, shift priorities, document decisions, and ask for help when an issue requires management approval. Regular weekend availability is required, and weekday evening availability is strongly preferred. CPR, AED, and first aid certification are preferred or must be completed if required by Train4Life policy. Knowledge of basketball, pickleball, golf simulators, strength training, or multi-sport programming is helpful but not required in every area. Schedule and Compensation This is a full-time, hourly position based at Train4Life in Marshfield, Massachusetts. Pay is $20.00 per hour.
