Albertville, MN Salary Range:
$22.88•$26.78 (Based on Experience)
Shift Differential:
$1/Hour•Evening Shift, $2/hour•Overnight (NOC)

Schedule:
4-8:30pm Schedule Part time, working 38.5 hours per pay period (2 Weeks). Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday.
Position Summary:
Resident Assistants provide personal care and household services to residents. This role assists residents to maintain their own apartments who cannot manage entirely on their own due to illness, cognitive defects or disability. They maintain resident's personal dignity, self-respect and safety at all times. Supports and implements all safety practices. Services are provided in accordance with the mission of Guardian Angels.
Job Duties:
Provides personal hygiene to include bathing, dressing, grooming, nail care, skin care, toileting, laundry, and bed linen changes. Performs delegated nursing procedures following written and/or verbal instruction provided by RN. Promptly reports any change in resident condition to supervisor per policy. Documents all information in a clear, concise and timely manner. Provides assistance in the dining room at all meals. Performs cleaning duties in resident apartments and common areas, may include but not limited to, emptying trash, vacuuming, laundry and dishes. Maintain and projects a positive attitude towards residents, visitors and co-workers. Assists with planned group activities to include all shifts, weekends and holidays. To assist in providing a dignified, respectful, resident-centered environment for residents. Follows universal precautions, facility infection control guidelines, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities. All duties will be performed in accordance with current standards, guidelines, state and federal regulations. Uphold confidential information as required by Guardian Angels policy and procedure and as related to HIPPA. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Qualifications:
Currently registered as a Nursing Assistant with the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry. Prior nursing experience preferred. Must be 16 years of age, or older. Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times. Self-motivated, ability to prioritize.
