Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and record vital signs and charting of ADL's and tasked performances Provide specialized care for residents with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, implementing memory care strategies and behavior management techniques Support residents during meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition while maintaining cleanliness in dining areas Requirements Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments is highly preferred Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond effectively in emergency situations Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and behavior management techniques Strong caregiving skills demonstrated through previous long-term care or senior care roles Valid driver's license for transportation duties; clean driving record preferred Comfort working in group home settings or personal care homes This position is an excellent opportunity for compassionate individuals eager to grow their caregiving skills while providing exceptional support to those in need.
