Living LLC is a CARF-aligned Level III therapeutic residential program located in Salisbury, North Carolina. We provide structured, trauma-informed care to youth with behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs in a safe and supportive home environment. The Residential Support Specialist plays a critical role in implementing treatment plans, maintaining safety, and modeling appropriate behaviors while fostering a structured, respectful, and therapeutic atmosphere. We are seeking dependable, emotionally mature professionals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision and support to youth in a Level III residential setting Maintain a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment at all times Implement Person-Centered Plans (PCPs) and support residents in achieving treatment goals Utilize trauma-informed and de-escalation techniques to manage behaviors Monitor and document behaviors objectively and accurately Complete shift notes, incident reports, and required documentation before the end of each shift Administer medications as trained and document on MARs accurately Conduct narcotic counts at shift change when applicable Perform room checks, safety checks, and bed checks per policy Support residents with Activities of Daily Living (hygiene, grooming, meals, laundry, organization) Facilitate structured recreational, educational, and skill-building activities Transport residents to school, medical appointments, therapy sessions, and community outings Communicate all clinical, behavioral, and safety concerns to the supervisor or Qualified Professional (QP) Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Follow all
