Job Description:
The Head Injury Association is currently hiring for Medical Counselors who will assist and coordinate medical services for our adults with developmental disabilities in our Nassau and Suffolk County sites. This position reports to the Residential Program Manager who will provide training and support for the position.
Available Shift:
Monday - Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm
Job Description:
Monitor and provide a daily assessment of individuals' overall medical status Complete proper documentation of treatment Accompany residents on all medical/psychiatric appointments Coordination of appropriate follow-up care Assist medical staff in delivering in-service staff training Maintain medication inventory.
Requirements:
