Residential Treatment Technician. Make a Difference! The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Residential Treatment Technician plays a vital role in the success of each client. The Residential Treatment Technician is responsible for the daily direct care and supervision of children in our Residential Interventions Program.

Your Role:
Provide continuous supervision of youth, remaining alert and awake. Provide appropriate treatment interventions within a safe, caring, and structured environment. Provide therapeutic and positive treatment interventions to youth. Provide active coaching for personal care needs including health, hygiene, nutrition, and life skills. Implement the program's daily schedule and complete any required checklists. Document youth progress through daily use of treatment support systems ( Assist with testing, classroom observations, and assigned materials related to educational assessment, grading, evaluation, testing, or placement. Contribute to transition planning and reintegration of youth. Assist with program activities and special events, as assigned. Acknowledge trauma that youth and families have overcome. Interact with youth and families in a trauma-responsive and trauma-informed manner. Provide transportation for youth as needed, ensuring compliance with all safety/car seat laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma/or Equivalent. Bachelor's degree or college coursework in a human services-related field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Excel at both verbal and written communication. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. Have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record with no more than 5 points, and proof of current automobile insurance. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
