Volunteer Behavioral Health is now hiring for a Lead Residential Technician in Chattanooga, TN. As a Lead Residential Technician, you will: 1. Transporting Residents to and from other programs and/or scheduled activities, as assigned. 2. Ensure that prescribed medication is maintained and made available for the residents. Keep records of the same. 3. Supervise meal preparation, cleaning and other household/outside duties as required. 4. Supervise and coordinate activities of daily living for residents. 5. Provide or make arrangements for social, recreational, religious activities in the community as approved. 6. Provide ancillary services to the residents in the community as assigned, such as housing, financial aid, employment, medical, legal, etc. 7. Ensure that residence is maintained in keeping with the Manager's direction and licensing requirements. 8. Provide for the life safety for all residents in the group home. 9. Responsible for forcing all house rules. 10. Notify group home manager and designated relative in the event of an emergency. 11. On-call status in a rotating manner with manager of home as needed. Shifts as determined by the Resident Manager.
EDUCATIONAL/ EXPERIENCE
Minimum high school diploma or GED required. Mental Health experience or experience as a resident worker preferred. Must have a valid TN Driver's License. Must have an F endorsement. Georgia residents must have a valid GA Driver's License. Certification in CPR and First Aid also required.
