Job Description
Job Overview:
Keestone Senior Community, LLC, an Assisted Living Facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Resident Assistant to join our team. As a Resident Assistant, you will be an integral part of providing exceptional care and support to our senior residents.Duties:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support in meal preparation and ensure adherence to dietary guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Monitor and record vital signs as required
- Provide direct support to residents in accordance with individual care plans
- Uphold resident rights and promote a safe and respectful living environment
- Implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality long-term care services
Requirements:
- Experience in senior care or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license to assist residents with transportation needs
- Proficiency in meal preparation and knowledge of nutrition principles
- Ability to maintain a clean and hygienic living space
- Familiarity with vital sign monitoring procedures
- Understanding of direct support practices and home community care standards
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations in long-term care settings
