Project Manager Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to support our Project Managers in the construction of high-end custom homes. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and enjoys being actively involved in all aspects of the building process. The Assistant Superintendent serves as a key field support team member, helping keep projects organized, clean, and moving forward. This is a hands-on position that requires a willingness to assist wherever needed—including maintaining job-site cleanliness, coordinating trades and deliveries, performing minor repairs, and completing punch-list items. Success in this role comes from being proactive, dependable, organized, and committed to supporting the Project Manager and trade partners throughout the construction process. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager with day-to-day field operations on custom residential construction projects.
  • Support scheduling and coordination of subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspections.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites at all times, including performing job-site cleanup as needed.
  • Assist with punch-list and punch-out completion to ensure homes meet company quality standards.
  • Perform minor repair work, touch-ups, and corrective work when appropriate.
  • Receive, coordinate, verify, and organize material deliveries.
  • Monitor material inventory and notify the Project Manager of shortages or issues.
  • Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work to better support field operations and quality control efforts.
  • Help identify potential issues before they impact schedule or quality.
  • Assist with project documentation, progress tracking, and communication between trades.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, vendors, and subcontractors when needed.
  • Support quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction.
  • Provide general field support wherever needed to help keep projects on schedule and operating efficiently. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in high-end residential construction.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to perform hands-on tasks, including cleaning job sites, organizing materials, completing punch-list work, and minor repairs.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Desired Attributes
