Job description Social Vocational Services (SVS) is an innovative day program that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide training & support necessary for those who participate in the services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational & residential goals.
DSP Position Purpose:
To provide vocational and/or skills training to persons with developmental disabilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist client in selecting realistic goals and objectives.
  • Assess, evaluate, implement and chart client's progress on goals and objectives.
  • Pick-up and drop-off clients according to written schedules.
  • Record data and maintain field books.
  • Provide constant supervision to clients.
  • Participate in clients' planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports.
  • Care givers must be Mandated Abuse Reporter
  • NEW HIRE BONUS

Must have a valid California Driver's license and two years of driving experience with a clean record. May require the ability to operate a nine (9) passenger van.
Criminal Record Clearance:
Must obtain and maintain Department of Justice/FBI fingerprint clearance.
