Job description Social Vocational Services (SVS) is an innovative day program that serves adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our mission is to provide training & support necessary for those who participate in the services to achieve their social, recreational, vocational & residential goals.DSP Position Purpose:
To provide vocational and/or skills training to persons with developmental disabilities.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist client in selecting realistic goals and objectives.
- Assess, evaluate, implement and chart client's progress on goals and objectives.
- Pick-up and drop-off clients according to written schedules.
- Record data and maintain field books.
- Provide constant supervision to clients.
- Participate in clients' planning team to develop goals, objectives and natural supports.
- Care givers must be Mandated Abuse Reporter
