The primary purpose of the Social Services Assistant is to assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating of the social service programs in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures, to assure that medically related emotional and social needs of the resident are met/maintained on an individual basis.Qualifications:
We are seeking a professional, compassionate and outgoing individual with work experience in the social services field, with experience in the skilled nursing/ long term care setting . Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public. Must possess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other team members. Must have patience, a cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level in which they are currently functioning.Additional Information:
