POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Clinical Director is responsible for providing leadership and strategic planning for the social services programs at the facility. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality social services and supports the achievement of the facility's performance goals and objectives. Key responsibilities include overseeing administrative processes and management systems related to social services, fostering a collaborative team environment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Assistant Clinical Director plays a vital role in enhancing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the social services department to support patient-centered care in working hands with the Chief Clinical Officer. Leads the development and implementation of social services programs, ensuring they align with facility goals and meet the needs of specific patient populations. Responsibilities include strategic planning, program evaluation, and staying current on clinical techniques. Collaborating with management, promoting a positive environment, overseeing patient treatment plans, supervising staff and interns, and ensuring timely completion of psychosocial assessments. Participation in facility committees, oversight of family visitation, and maintaining quality standards across social services. Collaborates with community agencies to support clinical services, education, and recruitment. Maintain strong relationships with referral sources, coordinate resources for marketing, and support staff involved in referral development. Ensuring a welcoming environment for guests, maintaining professional communication, and providing ongoing orientation for patients and families. Oversees staff supervision, evaluations, and orientation for new employees. Facilitate ongoing education and professional development, coordinate staffing schedules to meet patient needs, and ensure effective communication among staff and other departments to support smooth program operations. Your Experience Matters What we're looking for:
Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinical-related mental health field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in psychiatric/mental health field, with a one (1) year experience in leadership management.
Licensure:
Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor preferred.
Additional Requirements:
A strong knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards. Compensation:
This is a full-time role, and the expected compensation range for this role is $70,000 - $77,000 salary .
