Job Description

```Duties```
  • Provide peer support and coaching to individuals in need, focusing on mental health and addiction recovery.
  • Utilize social work and counseling skills to assist individuals in setting and achieving their goals.
  • Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized recovery plans.
  • Offer guidance and resources for accessing community services and support networks.
  • Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to promote positive behavior change.
  • Assist individuals in crisis management situations, providing immediate support and connecting them with appropriate resources.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as therapists and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for individuals. ```Experience```
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as social work, psychology, or counseling is preferred.
  • Previous experience in peer support or coaching is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of mental health counseling principles and techniques.
  • Familiarity with addiction counseling and recovery programs.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health systems and community resources.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent listening skills and empathy towards others.
  • Proficient in crisis intervention techniques.
