Job Description

Cassia CONNECT is seeking a Life Enrichment Aide/HHA for our Adult Day program serving older adults. In this role, you will lead meaningful activities that support social engagement, cognition, and spiritual well-being while providing basic HHA assistance with daily needs. You'll help with personal care, mobility, and meals, observing and reporting changes in condition. Joining our faith-based, mission-driven team, you'll collaborate with nursing and activity staff to create a safe, welcoming environment where participants feel respected, valued, and connected. Responsibilities Lead and assist with group and individual life enrichment activities for adult day participants Provide basic HHA support with ADLs under nurse or supervisor direction Observe, report, and document changes in participants' condition or mood Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and use of adaptive equipment Support meal and snack times, including set-up and clean-up Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming program environment Communicate respectfully with participants, families, and team members Uphold Cassia's faith-based, mission-driven values in daily care Required Skills Activity planning Group facilitation Home health aide skills Assistance with ADLs Observation and reporting Basic documentation Infection control Safe transfer techniques Communication with older adults Team collaboration
