POSITION TITLE
Volunteer - Pantry Assistant
DEPARTMENT/PROGRAM
Kent Social Services
REPORTS TO
Assigned Program Director/Manager
SCHEDULE
Fridays, 9a-1p
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Assist with food service on Fridays, 9a-1p. Assist with preparing and serving meals Maintain a clean & sanitary kitchen and dining area Stock and organize food and supplies Comply with health and safety standards Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide regular and consistent coverage for assignments. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. Duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
(based on program requirements) Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals. Work as an effective team member. Ability to work independently and without supervision. Customer service experience either through employment or volunteer services if applicable. Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability if applicable. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation) if applicable.
