Maximus is hiring a Program Support Coordinator in Rancho Cordova , CA! This is a hybrid remote position working 50% at home and the other 50% in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role can transition into a fully on-site position in Rancho Cordova based on the needs of the business. This role provides administrative, operational, and customer service support to ensure the successful delivery of program services. This role coordinates schedules, manages communications, maintains accurate records, supports project activities, and serves as a key point of contact for stakeholders. The coordinator works closely with program leadership to resolve issues, track program performance, facilitate process improvements, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures while delivering a high-quality customer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day coordination of assigned business operational activities by following established procedures and timelines under moderate supervision. Identify routine operational issues, interpret applicable procedures or policies, make minor adjustments when appropriate, and escalate concerns with recommended solutions to a supervisor or senior team member. Coordinate assigned project task activities, track basic status updates, and support timely completion of deliverables within established timelines and direction. Support evaluation of current operational performance by gathering information, documenting observations, and recommending routine process improvements within established procedures. Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to support consistent and efficient business operations, seeking guidance when deviations from standard practice arise. Maintain clear and accurate quality management system (QMS) documents and procedures by updating assigned records, checking for completeness, and routing changes for review and approval as required. High school diploma or GED required and 2+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of experience as a project coordinator or comparable is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and other software applications is preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred Must live in or near Rancho Cordova, CA Home office requirements using Maximus owned equipment: Internet speed of 20 mbps or higher required you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to home router Private work area and adequate power source Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US Maximus is an equal opportunity employer.
