Helps with rehabilitation for people with disabilities or those in recovery, or coordinates home care services for the elderly; may also coordinate housing or job training assistance for immigrants, veterans, former inmates or families in crisis.

Job Description
- Assist and support the Life Enrichment/Recreation Director in assessing each patient or resident to identify individual interests, preferences, and activity needs.
- Assist with planning and providing therapeutic programs designed to meet each individual's needs.
- Provide activities that support the physical, social, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being of patients and residents.
- Participate in individualized one-on-one programs for patients and residents as appropriate.
- Encourage participation and create an engaging, positive, and enjoyable environment.
- Build positive relationships with patients, residents, families, community members, and NHC partners.
- Assist with maintaining positive community and public relations.
- Support the Life Enrichment/Recreation Director with departmental programs, events, and activities.
- Follow NHC standards, policies, procedures, and the Better Way culture.
- Maintain a professional, respectful, and supportive approach when working with patients, residents, families, coworkers, and leadership. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability and desire to work with elderly patients and residents.
- Willingness to learn new ideas, programs, and skills.
- Positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
- Ability to work effectively with NHC partners, families, patients, residents, and members of the community.
- Patience, strong organizational skills, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
