Job Description

Resident Ministry Services (Part-Time) This part-time Resident Ministry Services position supports the physical safety, security, and overall welfare of facility residents. The role works within a Christ-centered environment and focuses on resident compliance, facility cleanliness, emergency response, and the delivery of resident services. The selected candidate will help coordinate day-to-day operations, assist residents with practical needs, and document significant events accurately in CaseWorthy. This position requires professional communication, sound judgment, and the ability to work respectfully with residents, staff, volunteers, and outside organizations. It also requires familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, a valid Texas Driver's License, and the ability to work in a setting that serves homeless men, women, and children. Compensation is $16-18 per hour. Benefits Part-time schedule supporting business needs across second and third shifts. Hourly pay range of $16-18 per hour. Required use of established systems and tools, including Microsoft Office and CaseWorthy. What You Will Do? Promote and maintain the physical safety, security, and welfare of all residents throughout the facility. Monitor resident compliance with established rules, policies, and procedures, and report unsafe conditions promptly. Oversee facility cleanliness and support the efficient delivery of resident services across daily operations. Coordinate the facility's response to emergencies and provide crisis intervention using Biblical principles. Assist residents with daily needs, including mail, toiletries, over-the-counter medications, and other appropriate support services. Foster cooperative relationships between residents and staff while maintaining appropriate boundaries and professionalism. Complete required follow-up documentation for each crisis, significant event, and resident exit in CaseWorthy. Communicate and coordinate with Program Staff, Spiritual Formation, Children and Youth Ministry staff, management, and navigators. Your Skills High School Diploma or GED is required, with preferred college coursework or an Associate Degree in social services, Ministry, or a related field. Experience with substance abuse issues, mental health conditions, and homelessness is preferred for this role. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is required. Strong reading, writing, time management, multitasking, and communication skills are essential. Ability to work respectfully, professionally, and in a Christ-like manner with residents, staff, volunteers, and outside organizations. Valid Texas Driver's License, acceptable driving record, and current liability insurance are required. Ability to maintain resident and staff boundaries while using sound judgment with confidential matters. Familiarity with CaseWorthy, SharePoint, and standard office equipment such as copier/fax/printer and computer equipment is preferred. Interested? Pay Details:
