Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Program Director to lead the Lens For Peace initiative, dedicated to fostering peace, understanding, and empowerment within underserved communities. As the Program Director, you will oversee all aspects of program development, implementation, and management, ensuring that services effectively meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and other underserved populations. Your leadership will inspire a team of dedicated social service professionals, promote community engagement, and uphold the highest standards of compliance and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative program strategies and compassionate leadership. Duties Develop, implement, and evaluate program goals aligned with community needs and organizational mission. Lead a team of social service staff, providing supervision, mentorship, and performance management to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility while maximizing resource allocation for maximum community impact. Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, clients, and funding agencies to enhance program reach and effectiveness. Oversee compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and best practices in social services and behavioral health fields. Coordinate staff training initiatives to ensure team members are equipped with current knowledge in social work, behavioral health, disability services, and cultural competency. Prepare detailed reports on program outcomes, client progress, and operational metrics to inform continuous improvement efforts. Lead program development efforts by identifying gaps in services and designing innovative solutions tailored to underserved communities' needs. Skills Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and from underserved communities. Proven ability in relationship management with community partners, clients, staff, and funding agencies. Strong administrative skills including budgeting, documentation, compliance monitoring, and report writing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and presentation. Demonstrated supervisory experience in managing social service or behavioral health programs; capable of leading teams effectively. Expertise in program development from conception through implementation; adept at strategic planning. Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Leadership experience in social services administration with a focus on team management and staff supervision. Knowledge of behavioral health practices related to disability services; familiarity with social work principles is essential. Excellent communication skills for client engagement, staff coordination, and stakeholder reporting. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 20.0 per week
