Job Description
LSSI is hiring a part-time Social Services Coordinator, Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm. Responsible for coordinating home and community-based services to residents and families assigned to senior apartment building.

Provide needs assessments, crisis intervention, and case management to residents while maintaining confidentiality. Serve as a resource for the Housing Manager and maintain contacts in the community. Arrange educational programs for residents and staff. Maintain files in accordance with HUD and LSSI requirements and accurately complete all reports in a timely manner. Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.Position Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required. Background check clearance required. Experience working with older adults and entitlements preferred. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing. Excellent organization, presentation and pc/computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with other related software. Valid driver's license, in good standing for the state of residency required. Access to reliable transportation required. Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
