Must have SNF and Case management experience. We are searching for a Licensed Social Services Director. This position is crucial for helping to drive the culture with the rest of the facility and will partner with the General Manager and leadership team. The ideal candidate will have Skilled Nursing knowledge and experience in social work, discharge planning and a passion for dealing with the senior population. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and evaluation of social service programs tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Supervise and support social service program. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and stakeholders to enhance service delivery and program outreach. Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure fiscal responsibility aligned with organizational goals. Oversee compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies related to social services and disability programs. Develop new programs and initiatives based on community needs assessments and emerging best practices in social work and behavioral health. Maintain accurate documentation, write reports, and communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure clarity and transparency in all operations. Skills Extensive experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and from underserved communities in a Skilled Nursing environement. Proven leadership in social services administration with strong team management skills. Demonstrated ability to develop programs that meet community needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Excellent relationship management skills to foster partnerships within the community Strong administrative experience including budgeting and program development. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse populations effectively. Exceptional writing skills for report writing, grant applications, and client communication. Experience managing behavioral health programs or services is a plus.
