Job Description
Under general supervision, the Social Services District Manager will perform complex administrative and professional work by planning, implementing, directing, and reviewing programs, activities and operations within the Brooke, Hancock, and Ohio counties child welfare units of CPS and Youth Services. Responsibilities include planning, policy development, direction, coordination, and administration of the operation of multiple units within CPS and Youth Services. Acts as a liaison within Bureau for Social Services with the state and federal partners to facilitate problem resolution of complex matters. Collaborate with community partners, outside agencies, and service providers to assist in services provided to clients. Position located in Brooke, Hancock, or Ohio County, but e mployee must be willing to travel to all three county offices . Employee is subject to being on-call during non-business hours and must be available with access to a telephone. Applicants must possess a valid WV driver's license, and reliable transportation. Applicants also must have strong communication skills, both oral and written, and maintain detailed records and extensive documentation. Frequent travel may be required. Successful completion of a background check is required for employment.
