$19.91 per hour
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Youth Care Worker to support and mentor adolescent males in a residential program. This role focuses on helping youth develop life skills, maintain structure, and prepare for independence in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Support youth with daily routines and life skills Provide guidance, mentorship, and support Assist with service plans and referrals Supervise residents and ensure a safe environment Conduct room checks and headcounts Document activities and incidents Provide transportation as needed
Qualifications:
Associate degree or at least 60 college credit hours At least 1 year of experience working with high-risk adolescents (preferred in a residential setting) OR 3 years of experience working with at-risk youth instead of a degree Valid driver's license Clean driving record Reliable transportation (proof of insurance may be required)
Requirements:
Interest in working with youth Ability to manage group activities Strong communication skills Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries
Preferred:
Experience in residential or social service settings Background in social services, psychology, or a related field Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus How to
