Job Description

/Duties Participating SUNY students engage in paid public service work for up to 300 hours over the course of a year. These opportunities allow New York students to be paid for meaningful work that can provide lifelong skills as well as service to their community. Empire State Service Corps Members will serve in their respective cohort (Civic Engagement, Economic Opportunity, Education, Healthy Futures, Environmental Stewardship, or Veterans and Military Families Outreach), per the requirements described by the supervisor at their agency.
Members will also:
Attend a SUNY webinar (or the recording) and attend the SUNY video training for their cohort Participate in monthly meetings with Rob Binnall, Director of Career Services Submit written reflections to the program's coordinator, as requested Days/Hours Needed Varies with the individual's schedule. Campus Location/Bldg. Van Hoesen Hall, Room B005 Required Qualifications Please note that this opportunity is only eligible for folks who have already completed an application and been approved with the Empire State Service Corps.
