This position's primary function is to provide quality Family Resource Specialist Service to assist children and their families in achieving positive family communication, daily functioning, and stability. Knowledge and ability to work with families that are responsible with meeting the needs of an emotionally or behaviorally challenge child or adolescent. Organizational skills to maintain an effective work schedule that permits the most effective time management for children, families, and the program. Oral and written communication skills to provide other IFS staff, county caseworks, and ancillary agencies with accurate and concise information. Ability to work as part of a team approach when providing services and maintain a temperament that enhances collaboration while empowering parental abilities / family unity. Work cooperatively with those contacted in the course of work. Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred. Human services experience preferred. Positions requires Act 33/34 and FBI clearances; reliable transportation and insurance/valid driver's license. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of duties and skills.
