CLASSIFICATION SUMMARY
The Coordinated Community Response (CCR) Specialist supports and strengthens Hamilton County's coordinated response to interpersonal violence by fostering collaboration among justice, healthcare, victim service, faith-based, and community partners. The position works to improve communication, strengthen referral networks, expand community awareness, and increase access to trauma-informed services and resources, with particular attention to underserved and high-risk populations. This is a professional-level position involving the establishment of a trusting relationship with Family Justice Center partners, other members of the community, and the Coordinated Community Response Team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Facilitate ongoing communication with partners to strengthen coordination, reduce duplication, and improve consistency in service delivery, ensuring survivors are connected quickly to appropriate resources. Conduct community needs assessments for the community. Provide outreach, education, and presentations. Participate in evaluating program effectiveness. Adhere to FJC policies, procedures, and best practices. Organize, attend, and participate in special events to drive community support and engagement. Develop innovative ideas that will increase the number of clients seeking services at the FJC. Create and distribute a monthly FJC newsletter and update media handles as needed. Enter and maintain data in an applicable database and/or other electronic systems. Support HRIT meetings with attendance, ensuring multidisciplinary partners collaborate on high-risk cases. Facilitate regular CCR Team Meetings and update the team on all trends, FJC initiatives, and provide support and guidance for FJC task forces. Assist with client intakes as needed. Create and distribute a monthly FJC newsletter. Must meet regular attendance requirements. Must be able to maintain good interpersonal relationships with staff, co-workers, managers, and citizens. Must accomplish the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, in a timely manner. Performs other duties as assigned. May travel in Hamilton and Marion Counties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or related field, or have equivalent experience preferably in the field of child abuse, sex crimes, human trafficking, or domestic violence; or any combination of equivalent experience and education.
LICENSING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Valid Driver's License
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Knowledge of local and statewide domestic violence resources; community demographics; project management principles; customer service principles; facilitating public meetings; problem-solving; training and educating diverse groups; and planning public awareness events. Knowledge of best practices relating to family violence, including identification, safety, confidentiality, and program development. Knowledge of the criminal justice and social service system. Skill in working independently or in a team environment; organizing, planning, and prioritizing work; using a computer and related software applications; building relationships; exercising good judgment and effective decision-making; communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, and the general public. Skill in problem solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Ability to work as a part of a fast-paced multi-disciplinary team, which includes the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse persons, including law enforcement, criminal justice professionals, social service agencies, and other systems that impact service delivery for victims of child abuse, domestic and sexual violence, and elder abuse. Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with diverse groups of individuals.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
