This is an ideal role for someone who is both a people person and a builder. You will develop the systems and processes that support our volunteer program while also recruiting volunteers, building community relationships, and representing Catholic Charities throughout the region. What You'll Do Build and manage CCETN's volunteer management platform and related processes Develop and organize volunteer opportunities across agency programs Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and engage volunteers Build relationships with Catholic parishes, schools, community organizations, businesses, and other partners Represent CCETN at outreach events, volunteer fairs, presentations, and community activities Maintain volunteer records, hours, training, and compliance documentation Develop volunteer communication, recognition, and retention strategies Partner with program staff to identify and meet volunteer needs Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities Identify problems, develop solutions, and follow projects through to completion What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 2 to 3 years of experience in volunteer coordination, nonprofit work, community engagement, program coordination, project management, or a related field Strong relationship-building and communication skills Comfortable speaking to groups and representing an organization in the community Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through Comfortable learning and managing technology and databases Able to prioritize competing demands and work independently Proactive, resourceful, and able to turn ideas into action Genuine interest in service and alignment with the mission and values of Catholic Charities of East Tennessee Additional Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout East Tennessee Occasional evening and weekend availability Successful completion of required screenings Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Why This Role Matters Volunteers are an essential part of how Catholic Charities serves vulnerable individuals and families throughout East Tennessee. Pay:

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
