Who provides mental health assessment, crisis intervention, case management, and therapeutic services to individuals with mental illness in community-based settings. This role is responsible for implementing treatment plans, coordinating care, and linking clients to needed resources to support recovery and promote stability in the least restrictive environment. The QMHP-CS ensures services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, state regulations, and best practices in mental health care. Must be located in Beaumont, Tx or Around Beaumont, Tx area Responsibilities Duties Provide patient care with a focus on individual needs and preferences. Conduct data collection to assess client progress and inform treatment plans. Engage in research activities to stay updated on best practices in behavioral health. Offer child family counseling services, addressing the unique needs of children and their families. Deliver behavioral health support, including grief counseling and addiction counseling. Implement behavioral therapy techniques tailored to each client's situation. Work collaboratively with individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their personal growth and independence. Integrate Christian counseling principles when appropriate, respecting clients' beliefs and values. Qualifications A bachelor's or master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is preferred. Experience in patient care, behavioral health, or counseling is highly desirable. Strong skills in data collection and research methodologies. Familiarity with child family counseling techniques and practices. Knowledge of grief counseling strategies and addiction recovery processes. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities. Proficiency in behavioral therapy approaches. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
