Job Description
Enjoy having weekends off? This may be the opportunity you are looking for. Indivdiualized Skills and Socialization Specialist to work three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Indivdiualized Skills and Socialization (previously called day hab) services are for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism. This job requires training of individuals with intellectual disabilities in the area of social skills, toileting, personal hygiene, money management. There will be regular outings in the community. Must possess the ability to work independently and be a self starter. Must have a good driving record and a current/valid drivers license. Center is located in Wharton. The hours are 8am-4pm. Previous day hab experience a plus. All candidates must pass a criminal background check. The opening is for someone who is available to start after clearing background checks.
