Operations Manager — Wood4

Jericho, Vermont, with travel to other Wood4Good sites

Position:

Full-time Wood4Good provides free firewood to Vermonters who need help heating their homes. We're looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to lead work at our Jericho woodlot and help coordinate firewood production and distribution as we grow. Responsibilities Cut, process, split, stack, and prepare firewood for delivery Operate and maintain equipment, including the firewood processor, splitters, skid steer, and trucks Lead volunteers and organize safe, productive workdays Coordinate deliveries and support operations at other Vermont sites Keep equipment, vehicles, and the woodlot maintained and organized What we're looking for Experience with equipment, outdoor operations, or a similar hands-on role Strong mechanical skills and a commitment to safety Ability to lead volunteers and work independently A valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally; a CDL is a plus Commitment to Wood4Good's mission of keeping Vermonters warm

Pay:

$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
