Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Job Description

CERTIFIED ADDICTION PROFESSIONAL
(CAP) This is a Fee for Service 1099 Position. We are seeking Addiction Counselors, , that understand the spiritual implications of addiction in addition to the physiological. Bell Eve, Inc., is a Faith Based Outpatient Treatment Center, licensed by the State of Florida. Services offered include medication assistance and individual and group counseling for persons with opioid and alcohol addictions. This is a call for those who are compelled to make a difference, tending to those persons society has shunned. It is a walk that will test you in every way, will frustrate and exhaust you, but at the end of the day, when a client is freed from their torment, it all comes into clear focus and is worth the effort. REQUIRMENTS 1.
Possess a current Certified Addiction Professional (CAP) certificate from the State of Florida.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to: 1. Conduct diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments to determine the appropriate treatment plan 2. Provide individual and group addiction counseling sessions 3. Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to address substance abuse issues 4. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage patients to make positive changes in their lives 5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the treatment process 6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records 7. Provide education and support to patients' families regarding addiction and recovery

$40.00 per hour
