Overview CLH Health Services LLC is seeking a dependable and motivated Part-Time Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team in Seaford, DE. This role involves providing outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders. The counselor will conduct individual counseling sessions, facilitate group therapy, develop and implement treatment plans, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and participate in coordinated treatment efforts. Responsibilities Conduct individual counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey. Facilitate group therapy sessions aimed at fostering peer support and shared learning. Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans based on client needs. Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participate actively in coordinated treatment services, collaborating with other healthcare professionals as needed. Ensure timely delivery of services while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Stay informed about best practices in substance use disorder treatment and incorporate them into daily work. Skills Strong understanding of substance use disorder treatment principles and methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to build rapport with clients and foster a supportive environment. Organizational skills to manage multiple clients and maintain detailed documentation. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Dependability, motivation, and professionalism in delivering outpatient counseling services. Knowledge of relevant regulations and ethical standards related to substance abuse counseling. Qualifications Experience providing substance abuse counseling and individual/group therapy for clients with substance use disorders Knowledge of behavioral therapy, treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards (EMR/EHR) Proficiency in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and interdisciplinary behavioral health coordination Strong communication skills, ability to conduct mental health assessments, and adherence to CPT/clinical coding where applicable Experience with co-occurring disorders, relapse prevention, and continuum of mental health treatment planning

Pay:

$24.67 - $29.71 per hour
