Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Therapist to join our brand new primary substance abuse treatment center in Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team focused on delivering high-quality care to individuals struggling with substance use disorders in a supportive and clinically driven environment. We are open to both fully licensed clinicians in Virginia and Certified Substance Abuse Counselors (CSAC). Schedules Available:

Monday-Friday, Sunday-Thursday, and Tuesday-Saturday Position Details Full-Time On-Site Position Brand New Treatment Facility Primary Substance Abuse Treatment Program Competitive Compensation Based on Experience Responsibilities Provide individual, group, and family counseling services to clients with substance use disorders Facilitate therapeutic groups focused on relapse prevention, coping skills, recovery education, and emotional wellness Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure quality patient care and continuity of services Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and company standards Participate in case reviews, treatment planning meetings, and clinical supervision as needed Support clients throughout their recovery journey while maintaining professionalism, empathy, and boundaries Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of care Qualifications Active Virginia clinical license preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) OR active CSAC certification required Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred Experience working in substance abuse treatment, behavioral health, or related healthcare settings preferred Strong understanding of addiction, recovery, and evidence-based treatment practices Experience facilitating group therapy preferred Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment Passion for helping individuals achieve long-term recovery Preferred Qualifications Experience working in detox, residential, PHP, or outpatient treatment settings Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and clinical compliance Knowledge of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
