$29.00 - $31.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, Day or Evening Shift, No Weekends About BeBold Recovery BeBold Recovery is an outpatient addiction treatment center in Norfolk, Virginia, committed to helping individuals reclaim their lives. Our team delivers evidence-based, compassionate care through a range of services including PHP, IOP, MAT, and supportive housing programs. We believe in empowering clients to take bold steps toward long-term healing. About the Role We are actively seeking a full-time IOP Substance Abuse Counselor to join our clinical team on-site. In this role, you will provide direct care, facilitate group and individual sessions, create individualized treatment plans, and guide clients through their recovery journey in collaboration with a supportive, mission-driven team. Key Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial and substance use assessments Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions Develop and implement personalized treatment and relapse prevention plans Collaborate with case managers, peer support, and clinical leadership Maintain timely and accurate documentation Support clients with co-occurring mental health challenges
Qualifications Required:
CSAC, or related Virginia license or certification Bachelor's or Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field Strong knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health, and relapse prevention Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience in an outpatient or group treatment setting (preferred) Benefits Retirement plans Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Flexible schedule Supportive clinical supervision Opportunity to grow within a fast-growing treatment center Additional Details Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Norfolk, VA 23517 before starting work Hours are capped at 40 per week - no weekend shifts BeBold Recovery is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
