A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Our team delivers evidence-based, compassionate care through a range of services including PHP, IOP, MAT, and supportive housing programs. We believe in empowering clients to take bold steps toward long-term healing. About the Role We are actively seeking a full-time IOP Substance Abuse Counselor to join our clinical team on-site. In this role, you will provide direct care, facilitate group and individual sessions, create individualized treatment plans, and guide clients through their recovery journey in collaboration with a supportive, mission-driven team. Key Responsibilities Conduct biopsychosocial and substance use assessments Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions Develop and implement personalized treatment and relapse prevention plans Collaborate with case managers, peer support, and clinical leadership Maintain timely and accurate documentation Support clients with co-occurring mental health challenges
Qualifications Required:
