Our robust training program allows staff members to develop and grow in the position and provides the basis for upward mobility within the agency. •the position hours will be Sun - Thurs, 1 - 9pm• Responsibilities of the Rehabilitation Counselor of RRP Demonstrates introductory knowledge of public social services programs and policies; how to develop initiate and follow through with a plan of service; current health, social services and mental hygiene resources and how to appropriately link people to them. Provides life skills training, behavior management and crisis intervention. Meets one-on-one with clients in their home as well as in mutually agreed upon locations and establishes/maintains rapport. Conducts person centered treatment planning and ongoing assessment. Qualifications of the Rehabilitation Counselor of RRP High School Diploma/GED required, BA in Psychology, Social Work, or Sociology preferred (unless required by State Contract) Driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and access to a vehicle for work purposes Knowledge of basic computer functions (Google Suite, Microsoft Office) and ability to learn software systems and/or websites (Paycom, EHR, Relias, etc) Our company offers a dynamic and collegial work environment, ongoing opportunities for professional growth, and generous benefits, including 3 weeks paid vacation, up to 500 hours of sick leave, 9 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays (bonus days).
